The Drifters interactive map is a the perfect way to plan your ideal holiday. It shows all the important places of interest and local attractions as well as the hire bases and all the routes that you can undertake from each location. Zoom in for every last detail of information with Google’s latest satellite imagery. Castles, stately homes, museums and family attractions are all listed and links provided from the maps giving you all you need to know to plan you perfect break or holiday.
Drifters have over 40 hire bases (Starting locations) strategically located around the 2,500 mile canals and inland waterways network of England Scotland and Wales.
You can also search our availability by counties and areas. Simply go to the ‘Pick a Location‘ option and select the county or area you are interested in. Below we have shown which bases are covered by each of the selection options.
Lancashire & Yorkshire: Sowerby Bridge, Ashton, Barnoldswick. Silsden
Cheshire: Acton Bridge, Anderton, Bunbury, Nantwich
Llangollen Canal: Chirk, Blackwater Meadow Marina, Trevor, Whitchurch, Whixall, WrenburyMill.
