If you've always thought of taking a canal holiday, but found it a bit daunting or difficult to understand, we're here to help! On our questions page, we've answered some of the queries we get asked most often by newcomers to boating, and tried to take some of the mystery out of it.

If you've been boating in the past, and aren't sure whether it would be fun to try again, then its is time to look at the boats we offer - they're right up to date and very easy to use. The waterways too have changed for the better - the towpaths are easier to walk, the channel is in better condition and new canals have opened up. There are also lots of exciting new developments and attractions accessible from the waterways.

We've got a great range of modern boats that we're very proud of. Drifters members are the biggest investors in new boats on the inland waterways. And there is an ever-increasing range of places you can cruise on our boats as we open up new bases.
